GALSI x Colectiva in the Elgar Room
at the Royal Albert Hall
The wonderful team behind the Royal Albert Hall's Late Night Jazz series asked us to curate an evening celebrating gender inclusivity in jazz and we invited the formidable, all-female Latin/Jazz band Colectiva who absolutely tore it up and answered our and audience questions with such thoughtfulness and candor.
Rebecca and Letty spoke to Patrick from the Music Teachers' Podcast about the need for GALSI and what can be done to support school-aged students.
GALSI COURSE 2022!
We held our first annual course - a two-day workshop for female and non-binary brass and percussion players aged 8-25. With nearly thirty participants and our fabulous Associate Artists, it was a vibrant and energetic couple of days with an impressive and memorable final performance for friends and family.
THREE IN A BAR
Letty and Beth spoke to Seb Philpott and Verity Simmons from Three In A Bar about all things GALSI, the freelancing life, and of course, plumbing.
